A Systematic Review of worldwide incidence of Non-melanoma skin cancer

Abstract

Background:  Non-melanoma skin cancer (NMSC) is the most common cancer affecting Caucasians and the incidence is increasing worldwide. This systematic review brings together 75 studies conducted over the past half decade to look at geographic variations and trends worldwide in NMSC, and specifically incidence data is compared to recent UK cancer registry data.


Materials and Methods:  Following the development of a comprehensive search strategy, an assessment tool was adapted to look at the methodological quality of the eligible studies.

  1. Any type of cancer is dangerous if it is not diagnosed or treated in time. Very nice article by the way I have a friend who survived from Skin cancer by getting Skin Cancer Treatment in Alabama from GCDermcentre and now leading a healthy life.
