Determinants of Disability, Quality of Life and Depression in Dermatological Patients with Systemic Scleroderma

Abstract

Background:  Systemic Scleroderma (SSc) is a rare disease with still limited knowledge about the relationship between clinical signs, disability, quality of life and depressive symptoms. Although SSc-patients are frequently treated by dermatologists, the vast majority of published evidence is based on rheumatological samples.


Objectives:  To identify determinants of disability, decreased quality of life, and depression in a dermatological sample of SSc-patients.
