The treatment of cutaneous graft-versus-host disease (GVHD) is one of the most challenging clinical scenarios in a dermatological practice. Given the significant risk of morbidity and mortality in this patient group, it is important for a dermatologist to understand the pathophysiology of GVHD, as well as their role within a multidisciplinary practice where many immunosuppressants are prescribed.
